It Will be a Gorgeous Addition to Your Collection!
A stunning modern design for this beautiful quilt is given vintage appeal with a scrappy interpretation. Black prints and those with gray are sprinkled throughout to provide a unifying touch.
Choose a wide variety of prints either from yardage or your scrap bin for your own interpretation. The quilt will also be stunning made up in a more coordinated color theme.
Fan blocks are pieced, then appliqued to the background. The background is perfect for showing off your quilting, whether it be by hand, home machine or longarmer.
The designer, Sharon from Cover Girl, has created a series of tutorials to help you make this wonderful quilt. They’re presented as a quilt-along and are linked to below.
Instructions are provided for both crib and twin sizes. However, you can add or delete blocks to make the size you prefer.
You’ll find all the quilt-along tutorials linked to from this page. Start at the bottom of the page with Part 1 and work your way up the page to the final entry, “Making a Pieced Border.”

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
