For many quilters the most difficult part of making a quilt is selecting fabric. It can be a real challenge to turn your vision for a quilt into reality when faced with so many fabric choices.

Karen Brown from Just Get It Done Quilts has put together a wonderful video full of insightful tips for selecting fabric. She does a great job of addressing the places where it’s easy to go wrong when choosing fabric for a quilt.

She uses the Ultimate 3-in-1 Color Tool to help her in the process. Once she has made her selections, notice how she folds the fabrics to see how well they work together.
