Flowers and Spools Combine in a Pretty Runner

| December 3, 2016 | Table Toppers
Mix and Match Beautiful Fabrics from Your Stash!
Scrappy spool blocks and a simple pieced border are made even more charming with sweet appliqued flowers. The combination finishes into a beautiful table runner to enjoy on any flat surface in your home.
Hand-turned applique and hand quilting will make this runner extra special. However, you can finish it up more quickly with fusible applique and machine quilting without losing any of the charm.
Select a combination of scraps and leftover fabric squares for your own beautiful runner. Choose fabrics to match your decor, springtime pastels, or any combination that suits your fancy. Soft and sweet or vivid and bold, just about any combination will be pretty made up in this pattern.
The pattern, by Gail Pan, is for a 20″ x 44″ runner.
