Santa gives this pretty runner a touch of whimsy to enjoy all during the holidays. The matching mug rugs complete the set for a beautiful table presentation.
We love the colors selected by the designer, Christine J Designs. Notice how the starry green fabric makes the mug rug trees seem “decorated”.
This set will be beautiful in your favorite holiday colors, as well. Choose a variety of fabric styles to create additional interest. We especially like the unexpected gingham in the example.
Both the runner and the mug rugs are easy to make. The beautifully designed patchwork adds another level of interest while being simple to stitch together. Santa and the trees are quick fusible applique.
The finished runner is about 14″ x 40″. The mug rugs are 8″ x 12″.
