Plaid Fabrics are Wonderful in This Quilt

An Unusual and Pretty Quilt in Other Fabric Styles, Too!
A modified Log Cabin block takes on a fresh new look made up in plaids. The scrappy look of this quilt comes from using a wide variety of fabrics. This would be a great project for mens shirts.
The quilt is an easy one to stitch together. Even a beginning quilter can make this quilt. Just take your time and be careful to not stretch the bias edges.
The unusual pattern will be wonderful in other fabric styles as well. We can easily imagine it made up in a variety of small and medium sized prints. Go scrappy, or coordinate the colors.
The pattern is found in Creative Log Cabin Quilting. You’ll find several other great patterns there as well.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
