These Complex Stars Are Easier Than They Look

| January 26, 2017 | Quilt Ideas
Instructions Are Provided for 3 Quilt Sizes!
The complex stars in this beautiful quilt are really quite simple to make, even for beginning quilters. Use a variety of scraps and tie all the stars together with the sashing and border.
You can also use fat quarters or yardage and go with a more coordinated color scheme. Give yours a scrappy look or not, depending on what suits you.
This quilt can take on so many looks. Bright and bold fabrics give it a cheerful, and even playful look. More muted colors will be more sophisticated. You can even give it a vintage look like the one shown above.
The pattern, from Pleasant Valley Creations, includes instructions for three quilt sizes:
- Crib size: 38″ x 47 1/2″
- Twin size: 70″ x 89″
- Queen Size: 99″ x 118″
