Get Creative with This Versatile Topper
Play up the Hearts or Take Yours in Another Direction!
This versatile table topper can take on many looks depending on the fabrics and color placement. It was designed as two rows of hearts nestled together but creative fabric selection means it can be so much more.
You’ll have fun going through your stash to find a great combination of fabrics for your version. Pay particular attention to value placement, as that along with color will have a big impact on what emerges as the overall design.
The following examples show you how versatile this pattern is (the name of the quilter is above each photo).
Notice in the following version how yellow was pieced into the basic shape to create the flower center. Alter that shape by cutting a hexie and piecing yellow to one side and background fabric to the opposite side.
