Have This Runner on Your Table in a Breeze

This pretty table runner is a quick project that you can have finished and on your table in just a few hours. Simple piecing makes it an easy project to complete.
The runner lends itself to many fabric styles and color combinations. Gingham and polka dots would give it a lighthearted feel, batiks will add richness and depth, and repro fabrics will make a charmingly old fashioned runner.
You might consider making it up in seasonal colors, as well. It’s such an easy project that you can make one for every season in a short amount of time.
Once the piecing is complete, practice your stipple free motion quilting or do some straight line quilting to finish it up quickly.
The finished runner, by Deborah Shafer, is 16″ x 32″.
