A Beautiful Log Cabin for the Holidays

This Quilt Is Lovely in Many Color Combinations!
Log Cabin blocks and stars in holiday fabrics create a stunning quilt. A beautiful Christmas fabric for half of each block and careful placement of green “logs” makes a strong eye-catching design.
This wonderful quilt will be lovely in other colors as well. We can easily imagine it in deep autumn colors, light spring pastels and festive summer brights. Or, follow the designer’s lead and make it up in your favorite holiday fabrics.
However you choose to “color” your version, you’ll have a beautiful quilt when you’re done. While it looks complex, this is a simple pattern that even beginners can complete.
The pattern, from Pleasant Valley Creations, includes instructions for two sizes:
- Lap/Twin size: 61″ x 85″
- Queen size: 85″ x 109″
