Use This Pretty Block Alone or in a Bigger Project

It’s An Easy One to Make, Too!
This pretty block can stand on its own or be combined with more blocks for a quilt. It’s 8″ square and would make a lovely pot holder or mug mat. Simply layer, quilt and bind.
Combine several into a table topper, runner, wall quilt or throw. It would make a pretty baby quilt too.
Give the flower whatever personality you want simply by changing the colors. We love the purple and green used here, but play around with color until you find a combination you love. The background can be light or dark, depending on what works best with the colors you choose.
The finished block, from Diane Knott, is 8″ square.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
