Attention to Detail Makes This Little Quilt So Lovely!

A pretty selection of fabric and hand quilted accents make a simple mini quilt into something special. It will be fun selecting fabrics and motifs to feature in yours.

The designer chose linen for the sashing and borders (learn how to cut linen straight here). While that adds lovely texture, quilting cotton will work just as well.

We love the bird motif featured in the center. It will be fun going through fabric selecting something for that spot that speaks to you.

This is a very simple project to complete. It’s even turned so there’s no binding to deal with. It’s also great for practicing your hand quilting.

The mini quilt, from Larisa at Stitching Notes, is about  9″ square once completed. Double the finished block and strip sizes for a larger table centerpiece of about 18″ square.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
