Both the colors and design of this traditional quilt bring to mind simpler times. It’s a lovely quilt with all the charm of a beautiful antique.
Create your own version with colors you love. Softer prints, like those used here, contribute to that vintage look. Or, make yours modern with more vivid and, perhaps, non-traditional colors.
A complex looking design breaks down into simple components. While it looks a bit difficult, it’s all straight forward piecing. Just take your time and you’ll be rewarded with a quilt to cherish.
The finished quilt, designed by Angie Milligan, is 58″ x 58″. Simply add more blocks for a larger quilt.
