Create a Timeless Treasure from Reproduction Fabrics

An Authentic Civil War Era Palette is Simply Beautiful!
The illusion of interwoven diagonal sashing unifies stars of various colors in this traditional quilt. Reproduction Civil War fabrics give it the patina of a long-treasured antique.
Modern, more vivid fabrics, and even 1930s prints, will be lovely in this pattern, as well. Choose a combination that speaks to you for your own beautiful rendition of a classic design.
While the quilt looks complex, the blocks are set in diagonal rows, making it easier to make than you might think.
The finished quilt, designed by Maria Umhey, is 84 1/2″ x 84 1/2″.
