What do you do with a pack of fat eighths? Make a charming pair of quilts. The original “Fat Eighth Frenzy” quilt is so easy and fast to make. You can have the entire quilt finished up in just a few hours.
Once that’s complete make a second, smaller quilt with the leftover triangles. It finishes even more quickly.
Part of the beauty of this pattern is how wonderful it looks in various color combinations. You simply need to choose fat eighths with good contrast, whether between lights and darks or between hues.

They also provide a free pattern. Instructions are included for 5 quilt sizes, from crib through king. The bonus quilt pattern using leftovers is also included.
The finished quilt demonstrated in the video is 48 1/2″ x 56 1/2″.
The bonus quilt, at 34″ x 41 1/2″, makes a lovely baby or table quilt. Or, hang it on the wall next to the larger quilt. The free pattern is included at the bottom of the “Fat Quarter Frenzy” pattern.
