Make a Cute Little Case from a Necktie

Vary the Width by Selecting Narrow or Wide Ties!
Use a man’s tie to make a quick and handy carrying case. Depending on the width of the tie, it can be used for a cell phone, sewing notions, and even for small scissors (tuck batting in the bottom to protect against the scissor points).
“A case made from a necktie can hold an item about 4″ to 6″ in length. But how wide an item? Ah, that totally depends on the width of the tie. The wider the tie, the wider the item it can hold.”
Check your favorite guy’s closet for an old tie. Or, you’re sure to find attractive ties to choose from at thrift stores and garage sales.
