Brighten Winter Days with This Snowman Triptych
Display This Frosty Scene for Christmas and Beyond!
This creative project is three mini quilts that together depict a winter scene. Frosty and his cardinal friends are whimsical and welcoming touches for your home during cold winter months.
We love how the quilts are displayed on a wire quilt stand. But, if you’re not able to find a stand, group the quilts together on a wall.
Another option is to combine the three quilt block panels into one and display it as a table topper or wall hanging.
If you’re short on time, the center panel would stand on its own. Make that one now and the other two later.
Designer Kelly Mueller chose Christmas red and green for her little quilts, showing how lovely this would look with your holiday decor.
We can imagine blue or another color for the snowman’s clothing, making it a little less holiday-ish and appropriate for all winter long (although we love red and would display it as-is well past the holidays!).
The finished size of each of the three quilted panels is 6 1/4″ x 11 1/4″.
