Reduce Bulk with These Tips!
Have you ever made a block and had the spot where several seams come together turn into a hard lump? That not only looks bad but it’s also miserable to quilt through.
Fortunately, it doesn’t have to be that way. With these tips you can piece stars, compasses, pinwheels and other complex blocks neatly and without bulky intersections.
An excellent tutorial by Dawn Cavanaugh for APQS shows you exactly how to make those intersections lay flat. She walks you through how to press the block segments, her special pinning method for achieving perfect points, and how to reduce bulk where several seams meet.
