Combine Intriguing Blocks for a Charming Quilt

Or Make One for a Mini!
This beautiful block is a clever combination of a Churn Dash block and a Bear Paw. The result is a stunning block that can be used many ways.
Finish one block into a table topper or mini wall quilt. Three or more blocks in a row would make a wonderful table runner or combine several for a larger quilt.
The most striking version of this block is achieved with two solid or tone-on-tone fabrics. Prints will produce a softer look. Notice, too, how the block can be changed by switching the placement of the background color.
The following quilt is made from both renditions of the block, alternating across the surface. A combination of prints and solids add interest to the compelling design.
This quilt is 96″ by 96″.
The finished block, designed by from My Quilt Diet, is 16″ square.
