It’s Great for Those Retro Prints in Your Stash!
Choose your prettiest fabrics for a lovely wall quilt to enjoy every spring and summer or all year long. Flower pots with folded 3D flowers are lovely any time of the year.
Soft retro-style prints are so pretty in this quilt. However, bolder modern prints will be beautiful, too. Smaller-scale prints in any color theme are perfect for this project.
Start with 5″ charm squares or cut pieces from your stash. The body of the quilt is all done with simple piecing. The flowers are folded into shape from circles of fabric.
The finished quilt, designed by Nancy Mahoney, is 32″ square. The 8″ flower pot blocks can also be used in other projects.

Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article).
