Modern Prints are Great Too!

This traditional pattern has a reputation for being difficult to piece. However, an updated construction method turns it into a simple project.

That’s great because the design is so appealing, especially in retro fabrics. Other fabric styles and color palettes will be wonderful, too.

Hummingbird Quilt Pattern

To speed construction, use a 30 degree triangle ruler (found here and here). Or make a template to use for cutting.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
