A Tutorial is Included for Fabric Easter Eggs!
This charming basket has so many uses. It’s a quick project and can be displayed throughout the house.
Fill it with fabric Easter eggs (or real ones!) and display it on your Easter table. Greens and ornaments will make it into a Christmas display. Halloween fabrics will convert it into a treat basket. Use it for your latest knitting or crochet project … well, you get the idea.
Designer Amy Smart filled her basket with fabric eggs made using the tutorial by Retro Mama.
The basket is also great for gifts. Fill it with things the recipient will love, and give it for any occasion.
The basket tutorial by Amy Smart for Riley Blake Designs is made from a patchwork “cheater” print. You can piece your own basket body, or make the basket from one piece of a print you love.
Other than fabric, two items are specified for completing this basket. Click the links below to learn more and purchase them:

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you! PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
