Make This Cute Hippo From Scraps

| May 25, 2021 | Other Quilty Stuff, Projects for Scraps
It’s a Fun Project That Everyone Adores!
This cute hippo is so much fun and sure to be adored by adults and kids alike. It will be great made up in scraps from a matching quilt or give it any color theme you want.
Hexies in a variety of prints give it a charming patchwork look. A jaunty bow is a cute finishing touch.
“If you enjoy English Paper Pieceing (EPP), you will be happy to know that you can make a great deal of the hippo using EPP methods. For sewers who prefer machine sewing, you too can make most of him using your machine.”
The hippo, designed by Heidi from Heidi Bears, is about 12″ from nose to tail, and approximately 5.5″ from the bottom of the feet to the shoulder
