It’s a Lovely Baby Quilt, Too!
This charming quilt brims with color and cheerful blooms. It’s a great way to put to good use some of those scraps you have tucked away.
Easy piecing and fusible applique mean this is a quick and easy project for anyone with solid quilting skills.
The pattern, by Erin Russek for McCall’s, is comprised of nine-patch blocks mixed with appliqued flower blocks. Careful placement of warm and cool colors increases the overall impact of the quilt while giving some order to the scrappy look.
The finished quilt is 45 1/2″ x 45 1/2″. Easily make it larger or smaller by adjusting the number of blocks.
