Turn 5″ Charm Squares Into Handy Bowl Cozies

Pull out your stash of extra 5″ charm squares and turn them into colorful bowl cozies. The cozies are simple to make and a great way to use up those leftovers in your stash.

Plus they’re wonderful gifts any time of the year. Just be sure to use 100% cotton batting, thread, and fabric if you plan to use them in the microwave. Poly anything will melt. Pellon Wrap-N-Zap Cotton Quilt Batting is perfect, as it’s made to go in the microwave.

The cozies are easy to make and go together quickly. You can have several finished up in just a few hours. It’s a good idea to make extras to keep on hand for last-minute gifts.

Start with eight 5″ charm squares for each cozy. Keep in mind that they’re reversible as you’re making your selections.
