Create a Pretty Pot of Flowers for Spring
They Can Be Used in Many Quilted Projects!
This charming quilt block is perfect for a spring or summer project. The pot full of flowers will be great in any colors you want to use.
Instructions are provided for four finished block sizes, providing lots of creative options. Add a border to the smallest block for a potholder. Finish a large block into a table or wall quilt, or create a charming pillow cover.
Two blocks can form the ends of a lovely runner with simple patchwork in between. Or go ahead and make several blocks for a larger quilt.
The block is created with standard piecing. Instructions are provided by the designer, Burlap and Blossom Patterns, for 6″, 12″, 18″, and 24″ finished blocks.
Other spring flower blocks are also available. It will be fun to mix them up for a pretty wall quilt or go large for a bed-sized quilt.
It’s hard to choose favorites but we especially like the perky daffodil and pretty lilac blocks.
