Feature a Motif or Print in the Center!
Hexagons branch out into double stars in this beautiful block. It provides so many design opportunities and is great for showing off favorite prints.
Plus, while it may seem otherwise, the block is made without Y-seams. However, you will need an 8 1/2″ 60 degree ruler.
Fussy cut a special motif for the center of the block – or not. You can place a beautiful print there instead.
One of the large blocks can be finished off for a table quilt. Combine two for a lovely runner or wall hanging. Four will make a charming baby or lap quilt.
The finished block and runner are the following sizes:
- Block Size – 16″ x 18″
- Quilt Size (Runner) – 28″ x 42″
