Get Creative with Color and Value to Make It Yours!
Beautiful snowflakes are surrounded by a patchwork border in this lovely little quilt. It’s perfect for displaying on a table or wall every winter.
Choose a variety of blues and grays for the snowflakes. Or make them white or white and tan or gray on a blue background. Light blue will produce a pretty soft look while the contrast provided by dark blue will be graphic and eye-catching.
We played in Photoshop a bit to show you how it could look with the values reversed.
Fusible applique is used to create the snowflakes. It’s a relatively quick project that is also easy to make.
The completed quilt, designed by Susan Miller from Our Forever Home Crafts, is 24″ x 24″.
