Turn Colorful Prints Into an Eye-Catching Quilt
Seasonal Colors are Great Too!
This charming quilt is a great project for showing off a favorite combination of prints. Start with a pack of 10″ layer cake squares, a selection of fat quarters, or create a pleasing combination from larger pieces in your stash.
Add a background and choose an accent to lead your eye around the quilt, in this case black, and let the chosen prints shine. Large-scale prints work just as nicely in this design as those that are smaller-scale.
Consider seasonal prints as well as other favorite color combinations. Also, consider using a color for the background and something other than black for the accent. The quilt will be striking in whatever combination you choose.

This is an easy quilt to make, too. You may find yourself making more than one just so you can play with color palettes.
The completed quilt, designed by Amanda Wilbert from Pieced Just Sew, is 74″ x 74″.
