Make Something Special With This Charming Flag
The Block is Simple to Make and Can be Used Many Ways!
Whether it’s Flag Day, Memorial Day, the 4th of July, Veterans Day, or even election day, this charming flag is perfect for the occasion. It will be great in a Quilt of Valor, too.
One flag block can be finished into a small quilt and hung on a wall or displayed on a table. A throw pillow featuring the block will be a nice pop of color for your home, as well.

Make several for use as placemats, or combine them into a runner, table topper, or a larger quilt. The block is simple to make and a fun way to show off your favorite red, white, and blue prints.
Start by making the star block. While it works beautifully in the flag, it’s a lovely block to use on its own or in other projects. Simply add red and white stripes to turn the star into a flag block.
