Quilted Mugs Are Both Decorative and Functional
They Make Lovely Gifts Too!
These cute fabric mugs are both decorative and functional. They’re sturdy enough for everyday use, beautiful enough for gift-giving, and can be used to store just about anything, both in the sewing room and around the house.
Once you’ve made one or two and understand how they go together you can easily adjust the size. A supersized mug will be a fun way to store fabric and even small quilts.
Plus, they go together quickly for experienced quilters. And you can spot-clean them or even hand wash them if they start to look a little grubby.
Batting or fusible fleece and light or medium-weight double-sided interfacing allow the mugs to retain their shapes.
Designer Petro provides instructions for mugs of the following approximate sizes:
- Large – 7.5″ tall x 5″ across
- Medium – 5.5″ tall x 3.75″ across
- Small – 4.25″ tall x 4″ across
