They’re Perfect for Christmas or Any Time of the Year!

Beautiful butterflies made from folded fabric will be lovely on your Christmas tree. They’re also pretty tie-ons for decorating gifts.

Or use one or more on a wreath, in a centerpiece, or even sewn to a wall quilt. They will be charming for spring and summer, or any time of the year, as well as for Christmas. Simply choose fabric to fit the season.

For 12 ornaments, start with 3/4 yard each of fabric for the front and another for the back. Or make each butterfly different using scraps from your stash. Finish them off with 1/8″ ribbon (18″ per ornament), 12″ white chenille stems, and assorted pearl beads with holes sized from 6mm to 14mm.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
