Are you ready to quilt your quilt top on your machine but dread having to do a lot of marking? Christopher Thompson, AKA The Tattooed Quilter, shows how to use masking tape to get perfect lines when doing straight-line quilting with your walking foot.
While this may seem like a no-brainer, Christopher provides great tips to make the process go more quickly and smoothly. While he demonstrates on a small sample his method also works well on larger quilts.
He also provides many excellent tips for layering up your quilt top for quilting. Basting spray is his method of choice and he shows how to get great results quickly.

- Aurifil Natural White 100% Cotton Mako Thread (or whatever color you prefer)
- Walking Foot to fit your machine (or built-in dual feed)
- Basting Spray
- 1″ Masking Tape
