Snowmen Make It Extra Charming!
This darling little Christmas tree skirt is perfect for a skinny pencil tree. It also works nicely with tabletop trees. Cheerful fusible-appliqued snowmen, in whatever colors you prefer, are a charming finish for a small Christmas tree.
Turning the tree skirt into a table topper won’t be difficult. Simply omit the hole in the center, or cover it with an appliqued circle, and sew the open side closed when piecing the spokes together.
The pattern provides several options for making the tree skirt so that it’s doable by quilters of all skill levels. There’s a brief video here that shows some of the construction.
Designed by Eilene Johnson from Simply Eilene, the completed tree skirt is 22″ in diameter.
