Fractured Squares Give This Quilt Plenty of Interest

Much Easier to Make Than it Looks!
Striped fabrics take center stage in this unusual quilt. At first glance it will look like you spent many hours stitching strips together to create the colorful squares. But construction of this quilt is super easy and faster than you might imagine.
The trick to the fractured look of the squares is to choose an uneven subtle stripe fabric. Use the easy 8 half-square triangles method to construct the blocks, orienting the stripes as pictured. Simple! The end result will be a striking quilt that looks way harder to make than it actually is.
The quilt, by designer Tony Jacobson, is 63 1/4″ x 82 3/4″ once completed. You can easily adjust the size by altering the number of blocks you make.
