Large Blocks Create a Striking Quilt in Red and White

Other Two-Color Themes Are Beautiful Too!
This stunning red and white quilt will be beautiful on your bed. Of course, it will be attractive in other two-color themes as well. Blue and white immediately come to mind but choose any color combination you love.
Oversized blocks make this a relatively quick project for the quilt’s size. For accuracy, the pattern uses paper piecing for the Flying Geese units but your preferred method will work nicely too (learn 5 ways to make Flying Geese units here).
Choose combinations of tone-on-tone prints for both the red and the white background. While one red print and solid white could be used throughout, the variety adds another layer of interest to the design.
The completed quilt, designed by Nancy Mahoney, is 84 1/2″ x 84 1/2″.
