It’s Simple to Make in Your Favorite Christmas Colors!

Celebrate the season with this beautiful Christmas tree quilt. It’s a simple quilt to make from squares and half-square triangles and will be striking in your favorite holiday colors.

The throw-sized quilt will be lovely on a wall or use it for snuggling while watching Christmas movies. While it was designed for a particular fabric line, it will be striking in any combination of fabrics. Just be mindful of value placements so the tree stands out from the background.

Mistletoe Quilt Pattern

Choose a pretty combination of fat quarters for the tree, the light low-volume background, and the dark corners. The star on top of the tree is created with fusible applique. A fussy-cut motif centered in the star will give it extra sparkle.

The completed quilt designed by Nancy Rink for Andover Fabrics is 52” x 67”.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
