Play with the Sashing to Give It Any Personality!
This eye-catching quilt features simple blocks that are given a cheerful, vibrant look with bold polka dot sashing. The quilt is a fun project and easy enough for confident beginners.
Plus, the design lends itself to many interpretations. Feature special prints or fussy-cut motifs in the blocks. The sashing can be made from a plaid, stripes, any size of polka dots, solids, or other print styles. In fact, this is a great example of how the sashing can transform a quilt.
Give your version a similar bold look or choose softer colors for an equally charming quilt with an entirely different personality. This is also a great project for scraps.
