A Log Cabin Block Sparkles in This Beautiful Block

Choose Between Several Block Sizes!
Make something special with this beautiful block. A Log Cabin block inside a star offers many design opportunities.
Create a focal point by fussy cutting the center of the block for a bit of whimsy. You can also use any solid or print there, and let the star be the main focus.
The block is created with paper piecing for crisp, accurate results. It’s easy to make and perfect for those new to the technique. You’ll find excellent FPP instructions here.
Designer Ingrid Alteneder from Joe June and Mae provides instructions for the following block sizes:
- 4“x 4“ (4 ½“x 4 ½“ unfinished)
- 5“x 5“ (5 ½“x 5 ½“ unfinished)
- 6“x 6“ (6 ½“x 6 ½“ unfinished)
- 8”x 8” (8 ½“x 8 ½“ unfinished)
- 9”x 9” (9 ½“x 9 ½“ unfinished)
- 10“x 10“ (10 ½“x 10 ½“ unfinished)
- 12”x 12” (12 ½“x 12 ½“ unfinished)
