Bring sunshine inside with this charming mini quilt. Display the brilliant sunflower on a table or wall and enjoy how it brightens the room.
The quilt top can also be used as a block in a larger quilt project. For example, it will be lovely on both ends of a runner, perhaps with rows of patchwork squares in the center to achieve the desired length.
While we’ve seen several sunflower blocks and quilts, this one stands out in how it handles the leaves. The quilt is primarily created from half-square triangles and squares, making it doable for quilters with basic cutting and piecing skills.
Once completed, the mini quilt designed by Sara Guerrero from Our Crafty Life is 15″ x 15″.
