Create a Beautiful Runner from a Simple Block

Easily Coordinate the Colors By Using a Single Fabric Line!

One simple block is repeated several times to make this charming runner. It’s a great project for showcasing a favorite fabric line, automatically giving it a coordinated look.

Each block is colored differently to add interest to the runner. Or, go ahead and make them all the same, if you prefer. You can also shop your stash for a beautiful fabric combination instead of drawing from one fabric line.

Rolling Stone Runner Pattern

The runner is made entirely from squares, rectangles, and half-square triangles. Quilters of most skill levels can achieve good results.

A similar pattern designed by Camilla Quilts from Cut Loose Press shows how the runner could look in another color theme.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
