A Wide Variety of Prints Gives It Scrappy Appeal!
A strong graphic design creates a stunning bed-sized quilt. A classic red and white color palette gives the quilt timeless appeal.
In this case, the design is softened with a cream background instead of stark white. Low-volume prints used in the background give the quilt a vintage vibe.
A wide variety of red prints contribute to the quilt’s vintage scrappy look. This is a great project for red and cream scraps, although you can also use a wide variety of new fabrics.
The eye-catching large star and Flying Geese are created primarily with half-square triangles. Other shapes are also used, adding variety to the piecing.
