Use Your Favorite Fall Colors to Make It Yours!

Colorful maple leaves take center stage in this beautiful runner. Twisting this way and that, they almost seem like they’re drifting to the ground.

Choose your favorite fall colors and make each leaf different. Or make them all the same in a more limited color palette. Use a pretty print for the border to tie the runner together.

Tone-on-tone prints and solids make the leaves stand out. Or consider a pretty batik or small-scale prints to soften the look.

Simple piecing is used to construct the runner. The leaves are made with fusible appliqué, although you can use any appliqué method you prefer.
