They’re Beautiful Gifts, Too!

These charming little dragonflies will be a beautiful addition to your Christmas decor. Make a set for your tree, use them to decorate gifts, and tuck them into stockings for special little gifts.

They’re also lovely in colors for any season. It’s easy to imagine them decorating a spring or summer wreath and tucked into centerpieces any time of the year.

Choose beautiful scraps of fabric for the wings or two fat quarters for a matching set of six ornaments. Finish them off with 1/8″ ribbon (12″ per ornament), 12″ white chenille stems, 12mm spacer beads, and assorted pearl beads with holes sized from 6mm to 12mm.

The completed dragonflies designed by Joyce Minnis are about 5 1/2″ wide x 4″ high.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
