Decorate Pre-Made Clothing with a Quilt Block

It’s Easier Than It May Seem!
Decorate a T-shirt, sweatshirt, hoodie, or even a jean jacket with a beautiful quilt block. This is a fast and fun project that turns standard clothing into something special. Make one for yourself and others for gifts.
The block is appliqued to the garment using fusible web and finished with a satin stitch. Notice how the hoodie also has a complementary fabric strip around the hood.
Use fabric left over from a quilt project or 5″ charm squares to create the block. Since the block is appliqued instead of pieced, there are no tricky seams to contend with.
The charming block measures 10 1/2″x 10 1/2″. Designer J Minnis provides excellent instructions.
