It Can Also Be Used As A Trivet!

Create a colorful turkey from scraps for your Thanksgiving table or other autumn decor. The quilt can be used as a centerpiece, a trivet, or hung on the wall.

The turkey shape can also be fused to a background and made into a square wall hanging. Add borders to make it larger, such as the focal point for a lap or throw quilt.

Dig into your scraps for the fusible appliqué turkey. It’s fused to a background, layered and quilted, then cut into shape and turned instead of bound. It’s a fun and easy project that goes together quickly.

Designer Lisa Capen shows how the quilt is constructed in this video. The completed turkey quilt measures 20″ x 22″ and makes an oversized trivet. You can adjust the size by changing the % when printing the pattern.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
