Large snowflakes drift across this beautiful winter throw quilt. The quilt will be lovely draped over the sofa or your favorite chair, ready to warm you on chilly evenings.
Tone-on-tone prints are pieced for the body of the quilt, which serves as a serene background for the snowflakes. Those are created with applique, using the method of your choice.
Play with color to make your own unique version. While the sample reflects the muted hues of a snowy landscape, the quilt will be just as beautiful given more color. Just keep values in mind so the snowflakes pop against the piecing.
