Use Jelly Roll Strips for a Striking Quilt

Play with Color to Make It Yours!

Turn a favorite combination of 2 1/2″ jelly roll strips into a colorful lap quilt. This is a great project for a jelly roll you love, or use leftover strips from your stash for a charming scrappy look.

Choose a neutral color, in this case off-white, to set off the colorful strips. Black, gray, and even solid colors can work nicely, too, as long as they create good contrast and let the strip colors pop.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
