Black Makes the Colors Pop!

Colorful batiks seem to glow in this eye-catching throw quilt. Gradations of color move the eye across the quilt, giving it a lot of impact.

Simple blocks make this an easy project, even for beginners. Start with 2 1/2″ jelly roll strips in a wide variety of colors.

Color Crossing Quilt Pattern

Feature a colorful jelly roll or use leftover strips from your stash (or cut your own). The fabrics specified by the pattern are no longer available, so have fun creating your own combination.

The completed quilt designed by Elise Lea for Robert Kaufman Fabrics is 56” x 68”.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
