It will be lovely in other color combinations, too. Notice how fabrics of similar value create intriguing lost-and-found edges around the outside of the design. Keep that in mind as you’re choosing fabrics.
A modern trapunto technique gives the quilting a soft, dimensional look. In the process, it turns a lovely quilt into something special. The technique can also be used in other projects and is well worth learning.
The completed quilt designed by Peg Spradlin measures 60½” x 60½”.
