Subdued Colors Create a Beautiful Quilt

Brighter Colors are Beautiful Too!
Colors for any season, as well as other color palettes, work equally well in this beautiful quilt. Whether you go soft and subdued or bold and colorful, the quilt will be one to be proud of.
The quilt is pieced from four simple blocks that, together, create the intricate design. It’s a great project for those who like some variety in their piecing.
Notice how the stars “bleed” into the first border. While it looks complex that actually simplifies the process of adding the border.
We love the subdued color palette of the quilt shown above. The more colorful version below has a lighthearted feel and is just as lovely. Be sure to notice the red and black rendition on the quilt stand.
Designer Diana Beaubien from My Quilt Room provides instructions for two quilt sizes:
- Twin – 68″ x 92″
- Queen – 94″ x 118″
